18 Installing the Projector (Cont.) Pr ojection Distances and Screen Sizes Lenses that can be used are a 3 : 1 ~ 7 : 1 zoom lens and a 1.5 : 1 fixed-focus lens. With a zoom lens used, you have a wider latitude in selecting projection distance and installation space than with a fixed lens.

28 ■ T o display the MAIN menu The main menu is used to adjust or set the projected video picture and the projector’ s condition, etc. (PIXEL CLOCK, POSITION, PICTURE, OPTIONS, SOURCE DECODER and LANGUAGE). For operating the main menu, refer to pages 33 to 58.

59 Filter Maintenance and Light-Source Lamp Replacement Note • If the filter is clogged with dirt, etc., the projector goes into an emergency mode (the EMERGENCY indicator blinks). So , clean the filter periodically . For the emergency mode, ref er to pages 8 and 24.
