6 Installation It is danger ous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this pr oduct in any wa y . Care m ust be tak en to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable. Any electrical w ork required to install this appliance should be carried out b y a qualified electrician or competent person.
7 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be r emov ed befor e using the appliance. Y ou are advised to k eep all transit devices so that the they can be r efitted if the machine ev er has to be transported again. 1. Using the supplied spanner unscre w and remo ve the two r ear bottom screws.
8 Installation on a Suspended Floor Suspended wooden floors ar e par ticularly susceptible to vibration. T o help pre vent vibration w e recommend you place a waterpr oof wood panel, at least 15 mm thick under the appliance, secured to at least 2 floor beams with scre ws.
9 2. Onto a sink outlet spigot. If the outlet spigot has not been used befor e , remov e any blanking plug that ma y be in place. Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secur e with a clip if requir ed, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to pre vent waste fr om the sink entering the washing machine.

11 1 Detergent dispenser dra wer 2 Pr ogramme selector dial The pr ogramme selector dial is divided into the following sections: • Cottons, • Synthetics, • Delicates • W ool / Hand washing •.
12 4 “Option” buttons Depending on the pr ogramme , differ ent functions can be combined. These must be selected after choosing the desired pr ogramme and before depr essing the “ Star t/P ause ” button. When these buttons are pr essed, the corresponding pilot lights illuminate.
13 8 “Star t/P ause” button This button has two functions: • Start : after you ha ve selected the desir ed programme and options, press this button to start the washer - dr yer . The light above the button will stop flashing and remain lit. If you ha ve selected a dela y time, the countdown will begin and will be shown on the displa y .
14 • Dela y star t , a time value indicated in hours (23 hours max) and selected by means of the r elevant button. The dela y time is display ed for 3 seconds, then the duration of the selected pr ogramme reappears.
15 Easy ir on 40° This pr ogramme at 40'C reduces cr easing on synthetic garments and theref ore r educes the amount of ironing requir ed. The laundr y is gently washed and spun to pre vent the fabrics cr easing. Max. load 1.5 kg. Final spin speed 900 r .
16 Using the washing machine Befor e the first wash, we recommend that you run a cotton c ycle at 90°C , without any laundr y in the mac hine , to remo ve any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measur e of detergent into the dispenser dr awer and star t the mac hine .
17 The rele vant light will light up . 7. Select the desir ed options If your laundry is very dir ty , it ma y be advisable to select the “ Pre wash ” option. If your laundry is only slightly soiled, select the “ Quick ” option. If you wish the laundry to undergo an extra rinse, select the “ Extra Rinse ” option.
18 18 Should it not be possible to open the door , and should it be absolutely necessary to do so, switch the machine off by turning the selector dial to “ Off ”.
19 5. At the end of the pr ogramme turn the programme selector dial to “ Off ” to switch the machine off. 6. Remov e the laundr y . Note: The pr ogramme time will automatically increase b y up to 1 minute, this is quite normal.

25 Maintenance and Cleaning Y ou must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply , before you can carr y out any cleaning or maintenance work . Descaling The water we use normall y contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.
26 • Pull out the emergency emptying hose, place it in a container and remo ve its ca p. • When no more water comes out, unscr ew the pump cov er and remo ve it. Alwa ys k eep a rag nearby to dry up spillage of water when remo ving the cov er . • Remov e any objects fr om the pump impeller by r otating it.
27 Emergency emptying out If the water is not drained, pr oceed as follows to empty out the machine: • Pull out the plug fr om the power sock et; • Close the water tap; • If necessar y , wait until the water has cooled down; • Open the pump door ; • Place a bowl on the floor and place the end of the emergency emptying hose into the bowl.
28 Something Not W orking If the washing machine is not working cor rectl y , please carry out the follo wing checks before contacting y our local Ser vice For ce agent.
29 Symptom The door will not open P ossible causes ● The water lev el is abov e the bottom edge of the door . ● The machine is heating the water . ● The drum is turning. In any case the door can be opened onl y when the door lock ed light has gone out.
