POWER SOURCE This AM/FM CD Cassett e Recorder operates on 6 X `C' siz e (UM-2) b atteries (Not included) or from AC120V ~ 60Hz line power sup ply. A. BATTERY OPERATION For best pe rformance and longer oper ating time, we recommend the u se of alkalin e batteries.
CD PLAYER OPERATION Note: This CD player will not only pl ay commercial CDs, but also self-compiled CD-R/RW discs. Do not attempt to pla y CD-ROM, CDI, VCD , DVD or computer CDs. Notes on CD-R/RW Discs • Because of non-standardized format definition/production of CD-R/RW, playback quality & performance are not guaranteed.

Press the CD Skip Forw ard Butt on (# 19) or CD Skip Backward Button ( # 20) to se lect the n ext song to b e programm ed and press t he CD PROGRAM But ton (# 18) t o store the second sele ction.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Clean your unit with a damp (neve r wet) clot h. Solvent or deterg ent should never b e used. 2. Avoid leaving you r unit in direct sunligh t or in hot, humid or dusty places. 3. Keep your uni t away from heating appliances and sources of electrica l noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
SERVICE Please refer to the inst ructions on the enclosed warranty card fo r returning your unit for service. When returning the unit, please remove batteries to prevent damage to the unit in transit and/or from possible battery leakage. We are not responsible for batteries returned with the product or for the cost of replacement.
