3 For y our saf ety NEVER ● Allo w children to play with or otherwise interf ere with the dr y er . NEVER ● Allo w the air inlet at the front of the dr yer or the air outlet at the bac k to be obstructed. NEVER ● Switch the machine off lea ving a hot load in the dr um.

8 Ho w to use y our dryer 1. Plug in, s witch on electricity . 2. Sor t your laun- dr y (see section “Sor ting Y our Laundr y”) 3. Open the door by pressing and releasing the front panel in the position shown.
9 The Contr ols Heat Selection Switch Star t s witch Empty water light Timer Control The dr ying time f or both heat settings is controlled by the timer . All y ou hav e to do is tur n the Timer Control clockwise until the required time appears in line with the indicator .
10 Sor ting y our laundr y 1. Alwa ys separate laundr y into the correct f abr ic groups bef ore washing and drying. 2. See that all zips are closed, hooks and ey es are fastened and belt, strings etc. are tied loosely in bows, y ou will nor mally h ave done this f or each item before the washing stage .
11 W ash Care Labels Most of toda y’s f abr ics can be tumble dried in y our Dr yer with no trouble at all, b ut there are cer tain fabric finishes which should be dried awa y from direct heat. The majority of gar ments now ha ve w ash-care labels on them, giving full washing and drying instr uctions .
12 Items requiring special attention The dr ying requirements of b lankets and bedspreads will, of cou rse, vary tremendously according to size and weight. Some, how ev er ar e simply too big. if you hav e difficulty getting them into the Dr y er , the machine will hav e difficulty dr ying them properly .
13 Emptying the W ater Container Remov e plinth (where fitted) by slightly lifting and sliding to the left. Pull the container out of the dr y er and empty it into a sink or other suitable dr ain). Empty the water container after EVER Y programme. Failure to do this will result in the water container becoming full and the load will not dry .

15 Caring f or y our Dr y er Y our T umble Dr y er needs very little attention. The f ollowing simple steps will keep it perf or ming w ell. Switch off electricity and remo ve plug. Ensure hands are dry . Alwa ys clean the filter , by rinsing under the tap or using a vacuum cleaner .
16 If something goes wr ong First, don’t panic! There may be nothing wr ong at all. Look for y our problem belo w , then check the things we suggest. More often than not, this will give y ou the answ er to your problem, and y ou’ll be able to carr y on without ha ving to telephone your Service Office.
