1 Abou t the SN MP Manage ment M odule The SNMP Management Module inclu des two twisted pair po rts, one fo r management and one reserved for future use.
2 SNMP Managemen t Module LEDs Each SNMP Management Module featur es several LEDs. The LED functions are: LNK/ACT FDX/COL TEMP PS FAN A / FAN B Glows green when a link is es tablished on port. Glows green when data activity occurs. Blinks amber when port is in Full-Duple x mode.

4 1. Open a session in iC onfig with a device you want to admi nister. 2. Choose the Administration tab. 3. Click the Save PROM Fi le button. 4. The Save as PR OM dial og box appears. 5. Choose a fold er and the n select the filename you wish to save.

6 About iConfig iConfig is an in-band configuration util ity ( in iVie w²) t hat let s user s quic kly and easily complete the first stages of SNMP configuration for SNMP- manageable devices. iConfi g can set the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway as well as defi ne the co mmunity strings and SN MP traps.
