www .HunterF anInternational.com If you ha ve an angled ceiling: 1. Y ou will need a longer downrod (sold separately) . 2. If your ceiling angle is greater than 34°, y ou will also need an Angled Mounting Kit (sold separately) .
www .HunterF anInternational.com C eiling Bracket Refer to warning w .1 on pg. 2 T o avoid possible electrical shock, before installing your fan, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breakers to the outlet box associated with the wall switch location.

7 KEEP! 20 cm (8”) 1 cm (3/8”) C U T & S T R I P (not to scale) Remove the pr e-installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted. Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downr od.
www .HunterF anInternational.com Downrod (c ontinued) DO NO T PICK THE F AN UP BY THE CANOPY OR WIRES. Place the downrod ball int o the slot in the ceiling bracket. Put the wires and do wnrod through the canopy . Let the canopy sit loosely on t op of the fan.
www .HunterF anInternational.com Wiring F R O M F A N F R O M C E I L I N G B R A C K E T F R O M F A N Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag , connect the 3 grounding wires (green, green/yello w stripe, or bare c opper) coming from the ceiling , downrod , and hanging bracket.
www .HunterF anInternational.com Canop y Lift the canopy into place so that the screw holes are aligned . Position the canop y so that, when lifted into place , the canopy ts int o the hanging bracket as shown. Screw Holes Insert the two canopy screws found in the hardware bag .

www .HunterF anInternational.com Make sure the upper switch housing is securely attached to the mounting plate. F ailure to properly secure all 3 assembly screws could result in the switch housing xture falling.
13 Light Kit Partially install two of the light kit assembly screws, f ound in the hardware bag, into the upper switch housing . Lif t the light kit assembly and connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings . Mak e sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors.
14 Install a CFL bulb into each of the sockets. When necessary , replace with bulbs of the same type and wattage. Lift the inner glass ush against the metal plate and install the globe keeper . Thread the pull chains through the holes in the nial cap .

www .HunterF anInternational.com T roubleshooting Exc essive w obbling • Tighten all of the blade and blade iron screws until they are snug . • T urn the power off , suppor t the fan carefully , and check that the hanger ball is properly seated . • Use the provided balancing kit and instruc tions to balance the fan.
