Conn ec ting t h e Monitor The monitor has two video signal connectors on the rear panel: one analog (VGA) and one digital (D VI-D).

Adj u sting the Monitor He i ght 3. Grasp the sides of the monitor screen and swi v el the screen left or right (45 degrees) as needed.

After the base is remov ed from the monitor , four threaded mounting holes are exposed on the monitor back panel to be used for mounting purposes.

Oper ating the Monitor User ’s Guide 4–3 Adjus ting Monitor Set tin gs Use the On-Screen Display (OSD) to adjust the screen image based on your vie wing preferences. T o access the OSD, do the follo wing: 1. If the monitor is not already on, press the Po wer switch to turn on the monitor .
4–4 User’s Gui de Oper ating the Monitor 3. T o navigate through the OSD Menu, press the + (Plus) b utton on the monitor’ s front panel to scroll up, or the – (Minus) b utton to scroll in re v erse.

Oper ating the Monitor User ’s Guide 4–7 Adjus ting Sc reen Q ualit y Allo w the monitor to warm up for 20 minutes before performing the follo wing procedures. The Auto-adjustment feature automatically f ine-tunes the image quality each time a ne w video m ode is displayed.
4–8 User’s Gui de Oper ating the Monitor ■ Clock Phase—Increase/decrease the v alue to minimize video distortion or video jitter . ✎ When using the controls, you will obtain the best results by using the Auto-Adjustment pattern application provided on the CD-R OM.

T echni cal Spec ificati ons User ’s Guide B–5 Energy Sav er Feature When the monitor is in its normal operating mode, the Po wer light is green. The monitor also supports a reduced po wer state. The reduced po wer state is entered into if the monitor detects the absence of either the horizontal sync signal and/or the v ertical sync signal.
