Working with Media Drying time (With a Take Up Reel) 3-44 Drying time (With a T ake Up Reel) If you ar e using the T ake Up Reel the i nk must b e dry b efore th e media is wound up onto the T ake Up T ube, otherwise t he image will be damaged.

Working with Media Drying Time (Without a Take Up Reel) 3-46 Drying T ime (W ithout a T ak e Up Reel) On some media type s, the ink n eeds time to dry b efore the media is u nloaded. The printer au tomati cally determ ines the appr opriate dryi ng time, based on the t ype of media you h ave selected and the current temperatur e and humid ity .
