If your han ds or arm s are clo se to an airb ag cover, they c ou ld be inju red if the air bag inf la tes . Objects on the covers marked ‘‘SR S A IRBA G’’ could int erf ere wit h t he proper opera tion of t he air bags or be propelle d inside t he vehicle and hurt someone if the air bags inf la te.

T wo types of seat s may be u sed: a seat de signed exclusive ly f or inf ant s, or a conv ert ible sea t used in t he rea r- f a cing, rec lining mode. If placed f a cing f orw ard, an inf ant c ould be ver y seriously injur ed during a f r onta l collision.

In sea ting posit ions a nd vehicle s not equipped w ith L A T CH, a L A T CH- compat ible child sea t ca n be inst alled using a sea t belt .

Make sure t here are no objects near t he anchor s tha t c ould prevent a secure connection b etw ee n th e ch i l d se a t a n d th e anch o rs. Move the seat belt buckle or t ongue awa y f r om the lowe r anch o rs.

Move the steering wheel u p o r down, a nd in or out , so it point s toward your chest, not toward your f a ce. Ma ke sure you ca n see th e instrume nt pane l gauges a nd indicat ors. Pu s h th e le ve r up to l o c k the st eering w heel in posit ion.
The mas te r ke y f its al l th e l o ck s o n your vehicl e. The va l et key works only in t he ignit ion and t he driv er’s door lock . If the system repeatedly does n ot rec ognize the coding of your key , contact your dealer. If you lose your ke y and you c annot sta rt t he engine, cont act your dea ler. Whe n you tur n the ignit ion swit ch t o t he ON ( II) position, t he immobilizer syst em indicat or should come on brief ly, t hen go of f .
