16 Star ting setup The Auto Setup menu appears the first time y ou turn on the TV , and assists you to specify the Air/Cable setting, and program y our channels automatically . 19 ENGLISH Memorizing channels This TV is equipped with a channel memory feature which allow s channels to skip up or down to the ne xt channel set into memory , skipping ov er unw anted channels. Before selecting channels, the y must be programmed into the TV’ s memory .
20 Checking the digital signal strength This TV will allo w you to vie w the digital signal meter for digital channels. 1 Select “Channel”, then press ▶ or ENTER . 2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select “Signal Meter”. 3 Press ▶ or ENTER to check the digital signal strength.

24 Pla yback pr ocedure 1 Press TV/D VD to select D VD mode. 2 Place the disc in the disc slot with the label side facing f orward. (If the disc has a label.) Hold the disc without touching either of its surfaces, align it with the guides, and place it in position.
25 ENGLISH Special pla yback Fast Forward Playback Press SEARCH ( ) during normal playback. Each press of SEARCH ( ) will increase the speed of the search. • To resume normal playback, press PLAY . Review Playback Press SEARCH ( ) during normal playback.
26 Marking desired scenes The TV/DVD stores the points that you want to watch again up to 12 points. You can resume playback from each scene. Marking the scenes 1 Press MARKER during playback. 2 Select the blank Marker using ▲ / ▼ / ◀ / ▶ , then press ENTER at the desired scene.

29 ENGLISH Video A djust menu From the Video Adjust menu you can adjust various settings that affect how the picture is presented. 1 Press SETUP during stop mode. HOME MENU will appear. 2 Press ▲ / ▼ / ◀ / ▶ to select “Video Adjust”, then press ENTER .
