HOOK-UP CABLES AND CONNECT ORS 6 ANTENNA CONNECTIONS T O REAR JA CK P ANEL VHF (75-Ohm) antenna/CA TV (Cable TV) When using a 75-Ohm coaxial cable system, connect the outdoor antenna or CA TV coaxial cable to the ANT A (75-Ohm) terminal. If you ha ve a second antenna or cable TV system, connect the coaxial cable to the ANT B ter minal.

21 CONNECTING A/V NETW ORK Y our Hitachi T elevision is equipped with an A/V Network f eature. This f eature helps to control your e xter nal A udio/Video equipment (VCR, Set T op Box, D VD , etc.). Once this is setup, it allo ws your IR Mouse connector to control your equipment using y our Hitach i TV Remote Control.

24 THE REMO TE CONTROL In addition to controlling all the functions on your HIT A CHI Projection TV , the new remote control is designed to operate diff e rent types of VCRs, CA TV (Cable TV) converters, set-top-bo x, satellite receiver , D VD play ers, and other audio equipment with one touch.
25 HO W T O USE THE REMO TE T O CONTROL Y OUR TV PO WER button Press this button to turn the TV set on or off when the remote is in TV mode. (See page 24 for instructions on how to set the remote control to TV mode.) TV button When the TV button is pressed, it will b link, to indicate the remote is in TV mode.

SETUP 66 Use this f eature to give a name to an y of the five video inputs. Press THUMB STICK , , , , to highlight the name of the video inputs. Press down on THUMB STICK to select desired input name. Select RESET to set video names to original factory preset condition.
SETUP 67 Use this function to automatically turn the TV on and tune to Video2 when it detects a video signal to input 2. Use THUMB STICK or , then press down on THUMB STICK to change A UTO LINK setting.
