Push the stem of the antenna into the hole which is located on the upper back cabinet of the unit. Connect the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna or VHF/UHF Combination Antenna to the ANT.

SPECIAL PLAYBACK 37 ALL REPEAT: repeat playback from the beg inning to the end of the tape. BLANK REPEAT: repeat play back from the beginning to the blank part, which has no more than 10 seconds, of recorded information. SEARCH 38 SEARCH Make sure... • You must use the remote control for the following steps. • Power must be turned on. • I nsert a tape. COUNTER MEMORY This feature can be used to memorize a beginning point that y ou want to review. And y ou can search for it easily by rewinding or fast forwarding.
SEARCH 39 TIME SEARCH The Time Search function makes it possible to quickly advance the tape to y our desired position from any position by entering the exact amount of play back time of the part y ou want to skip. NOTES: • Time Search is set up to 9 hours 50 minutes (9:50) by 10 minutes at a time.
SEARCH 40 INDEX SEARCH This feature provides a method of indexing the starting point. And y ou can easily search the index mark in either fast forward or rewind direction. NOTES: • The index mark will be made automatically when the REC button is pressed.

(If necessary , rewind or fast forward the tape to the point at which you want to beg in recording.) • You must sele ct the r ecording mode in STEREO, SAP or MONO when you record a broadcast.
