SKU 47591 P age 4 2. Alwa ys deploy the Outrigger Assemb ly Ar ms when using the Hitch Lift. 3. Place the load in the center of the lift platf or m and secure with the Dec k Tie-down Straps . 4. Make sure the v ehicle batter y is fully charged before using the Hitch Lift.
SKU 47591 P age 5 1. La y out all the par ts and components on a large, clean work surf ace. 2. Mount the Outrigger Suppor t (29) to the Hitch Adapter Plate (34) using two Bolts (1), W ashers (11), and Lock Nuts (12).
SKU 47591 P age 6 8. Inser t the Platform Ar ms (30) ov er each end of the Piv ot T ube (31). Inser t the Quick Release Pins (2) in each side. See Photo D . 9. Place (and hold) the Deck Plate (19) against the Platf or m Ar ms (30) with the Deck Plate tabs to the right of the Platform Ar ms.
SKU 47591 P age 7 13. Disconnect the positiv e (red) cable to the v ehicle batter y . Y ou will now be making an electrical connection from the Motorized Cable Module (27) to the v ehicle electrical system.
SKU 47591 P age 8 22. Unroll the Lift Cable (22) from the Cab le Dr um (21) by pressing the Pistol Grip T rigger . The le v er abov e the tr igger can be pressed left or right to wind up or unwind the cable . Press the Pistol Grip T r igger momentarily to see the direction of the Cable Drum.
SKU 47591 P age 9 T o change the lower limits in a similar manner , low er the Deck Plate until it just touches the ground. With the Adjuster Loc king Nut loose, turn the White Low er Limit Screw to rotate the lo wer limit cam in a counterclockwise direction until the Lo wer Limit Switch Ar m star ts to mov e, and is depressed.
SKU 47591 P age 10 10. Push the Deck Plate up to its stor age position, and replace the Quic k Release Pins. 11. Raise the Lift Hitch to its upper most position. 12. Raise each Outrigger Assembly Arm foot b y turning it. A wrench may be required. 13. Remov e the Quick Release Pins and turn each Outr igger Assembly Arm to the horizontal position.
