1 Introduction The APC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is designed to prevent blackouts, brow n outs, sags, and surges from re aching your equipment. The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) filters small uti l- ity line fluctuations and isolates your equipment from large disturbances by internally disconnecting from the utility line.
2 Rack - Mounting Œ • Ž • Two - post rack - mounting : Utilize the bracket holes that are of f set 6.25”. • Secure clip - nuts to the rack, and attach brackets with provided screws.

4 Wall Mounting Attention: Connect the battery before mounting by referring to applicable steps in Rack - Mounting. To avoid a safety hazard, do not mount the unit on the wall with the bezel facing downwards, or with the display panel at the bottom. Œ • Note: Whenever possible, attach two screws into wall studs.

6 3: O PER ATION Front Display Panel I NDICATOR D ESCRIPTION Online The UPS is supplying utility power to the connected equipment. On Ba t tery The UPS is supplying battery power to the connected equipment. Ove r load The connected loads are drawing more than the UPS power rating.

9 5: S TORAGE AND M AIN TENANCE Storage Store the UPS covered in a cool, dry location, with the ba t tery fully charged. At - 15 to +30 ° C (+5 to +86 ° F), charge the UPS ba t tery every six months. At +30 to +45 ° C (+86 to +113 ° F), charge the UPS ba t tery every three months.

12 Shipping and Service Prepare the UPS for shipping: Shutdown and disconnect any equipment attached to the UPS. Shut down the UPS, and di s connect the UPS from the utility power outlet. Disconnect the battery. If the UPS requires service do not return it to the dealer.
13 7: R EGUL AT ORY AND W ARRANTY I NFORM ATION 110/120 V models This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital d evice, pu r- suant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
14 Limited Warranty American Power Conversion (APC) warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Its obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its own sole o p tion, any such defective products.
