Cautions 2 Disposal of the old air conditioner Before disposing an old air conditioner that goes out of use, please make sure it's inoperative and safe. Unplug the air conditioner in order to avoid the risk of child entrapment. It must be noticed that air conditioner system contains refrigerants, which require specialized waste disposal.

Drain off the nitrogen gas after the leak test and then connect the vacuum pump as shown in the figure below . The vacuum pumping must be done from both the liquid and gas inlets.
After finished vacuum the system, change the vacuum to the refrigerant pump, charging the refrigerant. 8. Refrigerant charge When the outdoor valve is shut, fill the refrigerant from the access hole at the gas and liquid sides.
