Introduction: Congratulations and thank you for pur chasing the American Audio ® CDI-100 Mp3/CD player . This CD player is a r epresentation of American Audio’ s continuing commitment to produce the best and high- est quality audio products possible at an affordable price.
(a) FADER “Q” START CONTROL: This feature is used in conjunction with most American Audio® and American DJ® audio mixers that also feature “Fader Q Start” control. For best r esults use this feature with two (2) CDI-100 Mp3™ players. Connect your CDI-100 Mp3’ s as described in the set-up section of this manual.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND CONTROLS A. TOP UNIT CONTROLS (FIGURE 3) 1. LCD DISPLAY - This high quality LCD display indicates all the functions, as they are occurring. This display is viewable at several comfortable angles (see page 8). The display ICONS will be explained on page 13.

3. STARTING PLAYBACK - Figure 9 Insert an audio CD as describe on page 14 ( LOADING/EJECTING DISCS ). Pressing the PLA Y/P AUSE BUTTON (11) with an audio CD inserted will imme - diately start playback. The PLA Y (23) indicator will glow as soon as playback begins.

The IN BUTTON (10) and OUT BUTTON (10) LEDs will indicate a loop is stored in memory , and may be played at any time.
