Hardware Installation - 32 - 21) BA T (Battery) The battery provides power to keep the values (such as BIOS congurations, date, and time information) in the CMOS when the computer is turned off. Replace the battery when the battery voltage drops to a low level, or the CMOS values may not be accurate or may be lost.

BIOS Setup - 58 - Press <Enter> on this item and then press the <Y> key to load the safest BIOS default settings. In case system instability occurs, you may try to load Fail-Safe defaults, which are the safest and most stable BIOS settings for the motherboard.

Appendix - 82 - Create Arrays Manually T o create a new array , press <2> to enter the Dene LD Menu window (Figure 4). The Dene LD selection from the Main Menu allows users to begin the process of manually dening the drive elements and RAID levels for one or multiple disk arrays.

Appendix - 84 - Delete an Array The Delete Array menu option allows for deletion of disk array assignments. Deleting an existing disk array could result in loss of data.
