Control settings. ge.com Load Size Loosely load clothes no higher than the top row of holes in the washer basket. The water level should just cover the clothes. Adjust the load size accordingly . T emperature Select the water temperature for the wash and rinse cycles.

Using too little or too much detergent is a common cause of laundry problems. Y ou can use less detergent if you have soft water , a smaller load or a lightly soiled load.
