Care and cleaning of the range. Be sure all controls are off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range. Control Knobs The control knobs may be removed for easier cleaning. Make sure the knobs are in the OFF positions and pull them straight off the stems for cleaning.
Oven Light Bulbs (if included) NOTE: The glass cover s hould be removed only when cold. W earing l at ex gloves may offer a better grip. CAUTION : Before replacing your oven light bulb, disconnect the electrical power to the oven at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel.
All oven racks may be cleaned by hand with an abrasive cleaner or steel wool. After cleaning, rinse the racks with clean water and dry with a clean cloth. Gray porcelain-coated oven racks may remain in the oven during the self-cleaning cycle without being damaged.

If you notice the gasket becoming worn, frayed or damaged in any way or if it has become displaced on the door , you should have it replaced.
