www.gateway.com 5 5 Place the hinge co ver over the hi nge. The hinge cover c ame with your optional sta nd. 6 Attach the hinge c over using the screw you remove d from the original neck hinge. 7 R e m o v e t h e f o u r s m a l l s c r e w s f r o m t h e b a c k of the LCD panel.
Using Your Gateway Flat- panel Monitor 6 9 Tighten the thumbscrew under the base with your fingers (or a flat sc re wdrive r) to s ecure the neck in to place. 10 With the stand facing you, press the mounting bracket leve r to the left and hold it, then remove the bracket from the stand.

Adjusting monit or height tension The stand is fact ory adjusted to maintain the he ig ht for your monitor .
Using Your Gateway Flat- panel Monitor 8 2 Insert a Phillips scr ewdriver through the access hole in the bas e and onto the height tens ion screw (on the back of the stand, in the slot above the USB In port). 3 Adjust the height tension screw so the monitor stays in place w hen you let go.
