Important Instructions • Do not use any cooking cutler y made of metal or simular hard material on the heating surface to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Only use cooking cutler y made of wood or heat unsensitive plastic. Never cut on or tr y to scrape off batter from the heating surface using hard, sharp-edged items.
Important Safeguards Carefully read all instructions before operating and save the instructions for future reference. Do not attempt to use this appliance for any other than the intended use, as described in these instructions. Any other use, especially misuse, can cause severe injuries or damage by electric shock, fire or moving mechanical parts.

First use Before first use and after a long period of storage, clean the appliance with a damp soft cloth and warm soapy water (see Care and Cleaning). W ARNING! Always u nplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down, before cleaning. Do not pour or drip any liquids on the appliance or power cord.
