SCALEOVIEW H22-1W ● The monitor is equipped with a power cable that complies with safety standards. ● Lay all cables so that nobody can stand on them or trip over them. When attaching the device, observe the relevant notes in the " Connecting the monitor " chapter.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Transport ● Transport the monitor with care and only in its original packaging or another corresponding packaging fit to protect it against knocks and jolts. ● Never drop the LCD monitor (danger of glass breakage). Cleaning ● Always pull out the power plug before y ou clean the monitor.

The device may be taken back after use to be recycled, provided that it is returned in a condition that is the result of normal use.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Installing an ergonomic video workstation Before you set up your equipment, y ou should select a suitable position for working at the monitor. Please observe the following advice when installing a video workstation. 1 1 2 1 = Windows Avoid direct and re flected glare.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Mounting and removing the monitor base Mounting monitor base When delivered the lower section of the monitor base is removed. ► Push the lower section of the moni tor base (2) in the upper section (1).
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W ► Remove the cover (3) and disconnect all cables. ► Remove the two screws under the covers (1 and 2). You can now mount a sw ivel arm or a wall bracket as per VESA FPMPMI with 100 mm hole spacing. For instructions on how to mount the swivel arm or wall bracket, please see the documentation for the swivel arm or wall bracket.

SCALEOVIEW H22-1W The data cables supplied have one 15-pin D-SUB connector (4) or one 24-pin DVI-D connector (2) and one 19-pin HDMI connector (3) for connection to the monitor and to the computer. ► Select the suitable data cable for your computer.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W ► If necessary, insert one plug of the USB cable in the USB port (10) on the monitor and make sure it is properly engaged. ► Plug the power cable supplied into t he power connector (1) of the monitor. ► Mount the cover over the connections.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W ► Plug the power connector of the computer into a properly grounded mains outlet. When you start working w ith your monitor for the first time you should install the appropriate graphics drivers for your application software.

SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Changing the monitor settings When putting the monitor into operation for the fi rst time, the screen display should be optimally adapted to the screen controller used and adjus ted in accordance with your needs.

SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Colour Enhance Select colour optimisation This function allows you to select one of the following settings: Optimal, Office , Photo , Video , Game Office corresponds to a colour temperature of 6500 K. If you select Photo , Video or Game , the preset values for colour temperature, hue and saturation will be deactivated.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Troubleshooting Should an error occur, first check the following point s. If the distortion is still not eliminated, the monitor should, if possible, be checked on another computer. If you are unable to solve the probl em, please inform our help desk.
SCALEOVIEW H22-1W Having this problem? Check the following points: Picture position not correct The moni tor recognises an undefined mode (see the " Technical data " chapter). ► Press the EXIT/AUTO button to perform the auto- adjustment of the screen.
