freeS tor Mini 210/310 User ’s Manual 3 2 Hardware Inst allation 2.1 Inst alling a Hard Dri ve for freeStor Mini 210 Follow these instructions to install a hard drive into the freeS tor Mini 210: 1. Remove the freeS tor Mini 210 hard drive enclosure from the package.

Connect one end of the included USB cable to the freeS tor Mini 310, and connect the other end to a USB port on your computer .

Note that if you already have a previous version of freeS to r SBC running on your system, refer to the “Upgrading freeS tor SBC” section first.
8 5. If you agree to the License Agreement on the next screen (Figure 14), click “Y es” to proceed. If you do not agree to the License Agreement, you cannot install the sof tware.

10 8. The next screen (Figure 17) displays a summary of the selected installation p arameters. After confirming that the settings are correct, click “Next” to proceed with the inst allation. If you wish to change a setting, click “Back”. Figure 17: Installation Parameters 9.

12 2. Click the Backup Drive button in the toolbar in the main window . 3. In the Backup Drive window (Figure 21), select the local drive(s) that you would like to back up in the top window , and select the freeS tor 210/310 drive to use under Destination Disk.

14 7. The next screen (Figure 25) shows the size of the partitions that will be crea ted. The column on the left shows the sp ace used, total sp ace, and file system of the partitions on the local drive. The second column shows the size of the p artition that will be created to start full backups, which is the same size as the local p artition.

20 4 Using freeS tor SBC 4.1 Main Window After st arting freeS tor SBC, the main window will be displayed (Figure 38). The main window allows you to see the st atus of your computer ’s and the fr eeS tor Mini 210/310’s drives at a glance and perform a backup or restore with the click of a button.
freeS tor Mini 210/310 User ’s Manual 21 4.2 Rescan Disk(s) Click the Rescan Disks button ( ) any time you want to rescan your computer to discover new disks or remove disks that are no longer att ached to your computer . Y ou can also rescan the disks through using “Rescan Disks” under the Drive menu.
22 4.3.1 Full Backup When you perform a full backup, an entire partition is backed up to the freeS tor Mini 210/310. With freeS tor SBC’s built-in synchronization feat ur e, you will have the same files on your hard drive and your external drive after the backup is complete.
freeS tor Mini 210/310 User ’s Manual 23 3. If this is the first time a backup is being performed on this drive, a warning will appear to indicate that no partitions are available on the drive (Figure 40). Click “OK” to continue to the Prepare Backup Disk wizard.
24 5. If you chose to re-arrange the partition t able, freeS tor SBC will delete all of the data on the freeS tor Mini 210/310. Click ”Y es” to partition the external hard drive on the warning that appears (Figure 42). Figure 42: Partition Confirmation 6.

Otherwise, the scheduled backup will be aborted. 1. Select “New” under the Schedule menu or right-click “Schedule” in the menu in the lef t window and select “New”.

If you would like to proceed with the restore, click “Y es”. Otherwise, click “No” and change the files you would like to restore.

Dovresti trovare lì i dati tecnici più importanti del Freedom9 USB - in questo modo è possibile verificare se l’apparecchio soddisfa le tue esigenze. Esplorando le pagine segenti del manuali d’uso Freedom9 USB imparerai tutte le caratteristiche del prodotto e le informazioni sul suo funzionamento. Le informazioni sul Freedom9 USB ti aiuteranno sicuramente a prendere una decisione relativa all’acquisto.
In una situazione in cui hai già il Freedom9 USB, ma non hai ancora letto il manuale d’uso, dovresti farlo per le ragioni sopra descritte. Saprai quindi se hai correttamente usato le funzioni disponibili, e se hai commesso errori che possono ridurre la durata di vita del Freedom9 USB.
