Battery Charging Pb • Plug the charger connector into the battery . • Plug the charger into a standard 120 v olt wall outlet . Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the battery for at least 18 hours.
HI LO KC COOL HEAT Dash View 30 13 3 6 12 4 11 5 25 16 24 4 • Bef ore applying labels to the dash, wipe the dash with a clean, dr y cloth to make sure it is free of dirt and oils. Make sure y our hands are clean and dry . • Apply labels as sho wn.
Assembl y 6 7 11 • Insert the end of the steer ing column through the hole in the steering rod. • Fit a cap n ut onto the end of the steering column. • While supporting the steer ing column, tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the steering column.
Assembl y 12 • Fit the lens tabs on the back of a lens assemb ly into the headlight slots in the grille. • Press fir mly to snap the lens assemb ly into the grille.
Assembl y 13 14 15 16 • Fit the scre w pegs on the windshield brac k ets into the holes in the top surf ace of the dash. Press fir mly to fit the lip on each windshield brac ket into the slot in the top of the dash. • Insert two #8 x 1" screws into each windshield brac k et.
Assembl y 14 19 • With the seat at an angle , inser t the tabs on the front edge of the seat into the slots in the f oot-well wall . • Push do wn firmly on the edge of the seat above each tab to snap the tabs into the slots . • Rotate the bac k of the seat down to snap the seat back tabs into the slots in the v ehicle body .
Spor t Bar KC TM Light Rack - F ront Half • P osition the spor t bar with the ends on a flat surf ace, as shown. • Fit and hold the front and bac k halv es of the KC TM light rac k against the spor t bar .
Assembl y 16 28 27 T aillight Housing T aillight Lens • Using saf ety scissors, remov e the taillight lenses and the taillight housings from the plastic connectors. Dispose of the plastic connectors. • F ace the rear of the vehicle. • Fit a taillight lens inside a taillight housing.

Battery Installation H 18 Pb Important Note: Use only a P ower Wheels ® 12 v olt battery . Use of any other battery will damage your v ehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery f or at least 18 hours using the enclosed P ower Wheels ® 12 volt charger bef ore operating y our vehicle f or the first time.
Battery Care and Disposal Battery Care and Disposal I If a battery leak develops, a void contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.

The v ehicle goes f orward at a maximum of 2 1 / 2 mph . • Help your child pr actice steering to lear n how f ar and how quickly to turn the steering wheel when dr iving f orward in lo w speed.
22 T o Drive Caring For Y our V ehic le L Adv anced Use - High Speed Drive • Check all scre ws, retainers and protectiv e coverings regularly and tighten as required. Check plastic par ts on a regular basis f or crac ks or broken pieces . • During snowy or rain y weather , the vehicle should be stored inside or under a protectiv e cov er .

A new batter y should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
