10 Installation Finding an installa tion location • We r ecommend that the product is installed on the front windshield, either to the left or the right of the rear view mirror , and in a position that doesn' t prevent you fr om adjusting the position of the mirror .

28 Firm ware upgrade 1 Download the latest rmwar e from the website. 2 Remove the micro SD card fr om the black box and place it in the micro SD adapter . Use the memor y card reader for connection with a PC. 3 When you connect the micro SD card to a PC, it is e xecuted as a removable disk.
CR-500HD User Manual 29 Cleaning and storage Storage • If you are not using the black box, remo ve it from your vehicle and keep it indoors. • Make sure to disconnect the power while storing it. • Keep the black box enclosed if possible and avoid damp places.
30 The black box does not turn on. • Check if the power (cigarette jack c ord) is connected. • If the product is not working at all, press the RESET button with the tip of a clip. (Resetting only blocks pow er , and thus does not aect the product or the stored video .
CR-500HD User Manual 31 The black box is r ecognized on the PC USB, but is disconnected. • Connect the black box to the USB port of the PC main board if possible. • Remove any other USB devices c onnected to the PC. Connect the black box only or connect it to the USB host card.

33 Installing and using FineV u Player How to install and use the F ineVu Play er Main screen When you install and then run F ineVu Player , the following screen is displayed . FineV u Player is the software that enables you to play a video r ecorded by the F inevu car black box.
34 1 Click the Open button in the control bar . 2 Select a folder containing recorded videos . 3 Select a video le listed in the List screen and then click the Play button to play the selected video . 4 Now you can check the scenes being play ed. Y ou can move around and check the scenes b y time using the buttons in the Control bar .
