User instructions CHANGING THE PROGRAM To change the program in progress, simp ly open the door and select a new program. When the do or is closed t he dishwash er will autom atically select the n ew program.
User instructions ADJUSTING THE WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM The dishw asher is equipp ed with an dev ice for the user to adjust the water soften ing system acc ording to the hard ness of the water supply. The setting switch is in side the w ater softening system undern eath the cap, and offers a choice of 5 settings.

Installation instructions 2.1 Water supply c onnection Preventing the risk of clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long tim e, before connecting to the water supply check that the water is cl ear and free of impurities, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructions 3. Operating instructions Once the di shwasher ha s been correctly insta lled, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the water softeni ng system; • Add the rege nerating sa lt; • Add the rin se aid and deter gent.
User instructions • Do not use table salt as it contains i nsoluble sub stances whic h, over time, m ay damage the w ater softenin g system. • When neces sary, refill the r egenerating salt conta iner befo re starting the washi ng program .
User instructions ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid helps the dishes dry faster and prevents the formatio n of scale deposits and staining; it is automat ically added to the water during the fin al rinse cyc le, from the cont ainer situated on t he inner si de of the door .
User instructions ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the de tergent disp enser cap, lightly press the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully.
User instructions • The market off ers liquid and powder det ergents with differing chemical compositions , which may co ntain phosphates , or be phosphate-free but contain natur al enzymes . - Detergents containing phos phates are more ef fective agains t grease and st arch at temper atures above 60°C .

The relati vely high w ater temperatures and the detergents us ed may damag e them.

User instructions LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat plates, soup plates, de ssert and serv ing dishes, positioning them v ertically. Pots , pans and their covers m ust be loaded upside d own. W hen loading soup plate s and dessert bow ls, be sur e to leave a gap between them.
User instructions UPPER BASKET It is recom mended to load t he upper basket with small- or medi um-sized items s uch as gl asses, smal l plates, tea or coffee cup s, shallow bow ls and light object s made fro m heat resistant plastic.
