7 DISHW ASHER LOADI NG Loading Sugg estions ■ Remove leftover food, bones, toothpicks and other hard items from the dishes . It is not nece ssary to rinse the dishes befor e pu tting the m into the dishwas her . The wash module removes food particles from t he water .
8 Lo ading Bottom Rack The bottom rack is des igned for plate s, pans, casse roles, and utensil s. Many it ems, up to 1 3" (33 cm) ta ll, fit i n the bo ttom rack. (See recommended loadin g patter ns shown.) NOTE : The features on your dishwasher rack may va ry from the drawings shown.

10 Rinse Aid Dispenser IMPORTANT: Y our dishw asher is desi gned to use a liqui d rinse aid. The use of rin se aids g reatly improves drying by al lowi ng water to dra in from the dish es after th e final ri nse. They al so keep water fr om forming d rop lets tha t can dry as spots or str eaks.
11 3. Check the temperat ure on the thermometer as the wate r is running i nto the c up. Additional effici ency tips ■ T o save water an d energy and time, do not rin se dishes befor e pu tting them i nto the dishwa sher . ■ Use a low energy , quick, or short cycle wh enever possib le.
12 Canceling a Cyc le Anytime during a cyc le, press CANCEL/DRA IN. Y our dish washer starts a 2-min ute drain, if n eeded, and cl ears all ind icators. Let the dis hwasher drain compl etely . NOTE : If your d ishwashe r does n ot need dra ining , the dishwash er stops an d clears all in dicators.
13 Lock Use the l ock to avoid unintende d use of t he dishwas her . Y ou can also use the lock feat ure to avoid unintend ed cycle or option changes duri ng a cycle. When the loc k is lit, all buttons are di sabled. NOTE S: ■ The dishwash er door can be opened whil e the controls are lo cked .

15 DISHW ASHER CARE Cleaning Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or s ponge and a mild d eter gent is all that is n eces sary to keep the o uts ide of your dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If your di shwasher has a stainles s steel exterior , a stai nless stee l cleaner is recommended.
