5 Setting Operating Frequency of Wall Control and Receiver (Figure 1) Y our wall control and receiver have code switches which must be set in one of 16 possible code combinations. The four levers (numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4) on the switches are factory-set in the ON (up) position.
Installation of Wall Control SINGLE-POLE INSTALLATION (Figure 2) 1. Disconnect power at circuit breaker or remove fuse. 2. Remove faceplate and screws from existing wall switch. Pull switch out from the wall box. Determine the “hot” wire and the “load” wire and disconnect these wires from switch.
4. Install a wall control in the wall box containing the “hot” wire first. Connect one black wire of the wall control to the “hot” wire. Securely connect wires with wire connectors supplied. 5. Connect the other black wire of the wall control to both remaining traveler wire(s) in the wall box and secure with wire connector supplied.

Securely connect the black wire connector of the light fitter assembly to the black motor wire connector . Securely connect the white wire of the light fitter assembly to the white motor wire (Figure 9).
7. Carefully turn the fan motor assembly upside down in preparation for hanger ball/downrod installation. Place the partially assembled fan into the top half of the styrofoam as shown in Figure 1 1. Do not rest fan weight on the light fitter sockets. 8.
17. Y ou have now completed the initial assembly of your new ceiling fan. Y ou can now proceed with hanging and wiring your fan. 16. Reinstall the hanger ball on the downrod (Figure 16) as follows. Route the motor leads through the hanger ball and slide the hanger ball over the downrod.
1. Pull the wire leads, coming from the end of the downrod, and the supply wires through the open side of the hanger bracket. (Figure 20). a. Press the receiver against the ceiling, then slide the ceiling cover up to the threaded studs and turn until the studs protrude through the holes in the ceiling cover (Figure 23).
14 Operating Y our Ceiling Fan IMPORT ANT Fan installation must be completed, including the installation of the fan blades, before testing of the remote control. Y our Fan/Light Wall Control (Figure 26) has full control of your fan and light. However , airflow direction is controlled by a slide switch on the switch housing.
