8 English Touchpad The built-in seamless touchpad is a pointi ng device tha t senses movement on its surface. This means the cursor responds as you move you r finger across the surface of the touchpad. The central location on the palmrest provides optimum comfort and support.
9 English Note: When using the touchpad, keep it — and your fingers — dry and clean. The touchpad is sensitive to finger movement; hence, the lighter the touch, the better the response. Tapping harder w ill not increase the touchpad's responsiveness.
10 English Using the keyboard The keyboard has full-sized keys and a n embedded numeric keypad, separate cursor, lock, Windows, functi on and special keys. Lock keys and embedded numeric keypad The keyboard has three lock keys which you can toggle on and off.

If the computer is to be stored for more than two weeks, you are advised to remove the battery pack from the unit.
22 English English To remove a battery pack: 1 Slide the battery releas e latch to release the battery. 2 Pull the battery from the battery bay. Charging the battery To charge the battery, first make sure that it is correctly installed in the battery bay.
23 English Battery-lo w warning When using batter y power pay attention to the power meter. Warning: Connect the AC adapte r as soon as possible after the battery-low warning app ears. Data will be lost if the battery to become fully depleted and the computer sh uts down.
