English 16 2. CABLE CONNECTION Selecting the Active Input The Input signal selection button on the control panel can be used to select either Sign al 1 or Signal 2 as the active inpu t at any time. Every time the bu tton is pressed, the input changes.

English 4. ADJUSTMENT 21 4. A DJUSTMENT The monitor displays the digital input im age correctly based on its pre-setting data. 4-1. Screen Adjustment Screen adjustments for the LCD m onitor should be used in suppressi ng screen flickering and also for adjusting the screen to its pr oper position.

English 4. ADJUSTMENT 23 (3) The screen positi on is not incorrect. → Use the <Position> adjustment. The correct displayed position of the mo nitor is decided because the number and the position of the pixels are fixed. The <Position > adjustment moves the image to the correct position.
English 24 4. ADJUSTMENT 4. Adjust the output sign al range (D ynamic Range) of the signal. → Use the <Range Adjustment> (p. 51). This controls the level of output signal range to display the whole color gradation (256 colors). [Procedure 1] Select the <Range Adjustment>.
English 4. ADJUSTMENT 25 4-2. Displaying a Lo w Resolutions The lower resolutions are enlarged to full scr een automatically . Using the <Screen Size> function in the <Others> menu enables to change the screen size. 1. Change the screen size when displaying a low resolution.
English 26 4. ADJUSTMENT 2. Smooth the blurred tex ts of the enlarged screen. → Switch the <Smoothing> setting. Select the suitabl e level from 1 – 5 (Sof t – Sharp). Select <Smoothing> in the <Screen> menu and adjust by using the right and left buttons.
English 4. ADJUSTMENT 27 4-3. Color Adjustment The <ColorManagemen t> menu in the ScreenMa nager enabl es to change the color of the screen. By using the <Color Mode>, the adjus tment mode can be selected from <Custom mode> (to adjust the color settings according to your preference) and <sRGB> mode.
English 28 4. ADJUSTMENT T o set the color temperature (p. 51) → Set the <T emperature>. The <T emperature> can be set from 4,000 K to 10,000 K, in 500 K increments (including 9,300 K). NO TE • Do your pa r t to conser ve energy , tur n off the monitor when you are finished u sing it. Disconnecting the monitor from the po wer supply is recommended to sav e energy completely .

(If the Start button of the Windows is hidden, pres s the [Windo ws] key or [Ctrl], [Alt] and [Delet e] keys at the same time.

When connecting to a USB compliant PC or another hub, the m onitor functions as a hub to which the USB compliant peripherals ca n be easily connected.
