21 Installing the Motherboard Connecting I/O Devices The backplane of the motherboard has the following I/O ports: Use the upper PS/2 port to connect a PS/2 pointing device. Use the lower PS/2 port to connect a PS/2 keyboard. Use the USB port to connect USB device.

55 Intel ® Matrix Storage Manager RAID Configurations The Intel ® Matrix Storage Manager allows you to configure RAID 0, and 1 sets on the external Serial A T A hard disk drives. Complete the following steps before you create a RAID set: 1 . Install the external Serial A T A hard disk drive (HDD) on your system.
