Ensure that there is fuel and chain oil in the tanks. (If fuel tank was e mptied dur ing pre vious operatio n, refill tank and push purge b ulb 10 times.

Should the tip co ntact a limb or log while the chain is moving, the tip will be p ushed upward with considerable force.

There are ways to make a tree fall where you want it, so first decide where that is! Bef ore cutting, clear the area around the tree.

Use of replacement saw chain and/o r guide bar other than that specified, or operation without the “tip guard” in place, may cause severe kickback resulting in serious injury.
