While in this mode the de coder bl i nks t h e orange LED at 1 -seco nd i ntervals to i n dicate it is not in st an d ard operating (decod e ) mo d e.
16 DECODING AUTO EXPOSURE Select Enab l e Auto exposur e to all o w the device to c ontrol gain settings a n d exposure (in t egrat i o n) time to best cap tu re an im a ge for the select e d operation mode. Select D i sab l e Auto exposur e to ma n ua l ly adjust t he gain a n d ex p os u re time.

30 BAUD RATE Baud rate is the nu mb e r of bits of d ata tra n smitted per se co nd. Set the decod er' s ba ud rate to match th e b aud rate setting of the host devi ce. Otherwi se, d ata may not re ach the h o st device or may re ach it in dist or te d form.
31 PARITY A parit y ch ec k bi t is the m ost si g nifi ca nt bit of each ASCII coded char acte r. Select the p a rity type acc o rding to h o st device requ i rements. Select Odd p arity a nd the parity bit val ue is set to 0 or 1, b ased on data, to ensure that a n odd nu mbe r of 1 bits a re conta i ned in t he c o ded ch a ract e r.
32 STOP BIT SELECT The st o p bit (s) at the end of each t ra ns m itted charact e r marks the e nd of transmis si o n of one c h ar ac ter and p re pa r es the re cei v ing devic e for the next ch arac ter in t he s e rial data stream.
