10 Oper a tion 5. All functions of the appliance are accessible using the remote control. All instructions refer to operation with the remote control, unless indicated otherwise. Master power switch 5.1 The appliance is equipped with a master power switch (14) located at the side panel.
11 ACVDS726 ● T o connect a headphone, insert the cable plug in the headphone jack (13). T o prevent hearing damage, remember to adjust the volume to a comfortable level. DVD/CD functions ● Switch on the appliance. Select the DVD mode. ● T o insert a disc: Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (1) to open the disc compartment.
12 During playback, the following functions are available: ● T o select a chapter (DVD) or track (CD), press the digit buttons (20). ● T o select the next or previous chapter (DVD) or track (CD), press the PREV button (33) or the NEXT button (34).
13 ACVDS726 Using the SEARCH function The SEARCH function can be used to select a specic starting point on a DVD or CD. ● Press the SEARCH button (18).
14 Using the JPEG playback function ● Insert a JPEG disc. A content menu will display on the TV screen. ● Press the up/down arrow buttons (24) to select a folder or a le. Press the ENTER button (25) to start the slide show . ● Press the PLA Y/P AUSE button (39) to hold the slide show at the current picture.
