Settin g up your T V combo 15 T o connec t a VHF/UHF combination an tenna with a single 75 ohm cab le or twin-lead 300 oh m wires : • Connect the 75 ohm ca ble from the VH F/UHF antenna to th e RF IN jack on the back of your TV combo . If your antenna has a 300 ohm twin-lea d wire, u se a 300-75 ohm transformer (not included ).
16 Setting up your TV combo T o connec t separate VH F and UHF antenn as (75 ohm VHF and 30 0 ohm UH F twin-lead wires: 1 Connect the VHF 75 ohm cable and UHF 300 ohm tw in-lead wires to the combiner (not included). 2 Attach the combin er to the RF IN jack on the ba ck of your T V combo .

Using the TV 31 T urn ing off the daylight saving time feature Dayl ight sav ing ti me is auto mati cally set by speci ally b roadcast signals. If you liv e in a n ar ea that does not use daylight saving time, you can turn this feat ure off so y our T V c ombo ’ s time is not a utomatically adjusted.

36 Using the TV T urning the blue screen on or off When your TV combo is tuned to a chan nel that does not have a signal, you can specify whether you want the blank screen to be blue. T o turn the blue screen on or off: 1 Press the MENU button. The T V on -screen display (OSD) opens.
Using the TV 37 Displayin g closed captions Closed capt ions are usually d isplayed in Captions mode or T ex t mode. Captions mode usually disp lays captio ns for th e pr ogram ’ s audio l anguage. C C1 usual ly dis play s Engl ish. CC2 usuall y displays a secondar y lang uage.
