8 Making conne ctions Connec ting a VCR T o connec t a VCR: 1 Make sure that your T V ’ s p ower cord is unpl ugged a nd the VCR is turne d off. 2 Connect a n A V cable to t he AV VIDEO OUT jack on the VCR. Y ou can connec t an S-Video cable to the S -VIDEO OUT jack instead of the AV VI D E O O UT jack.
