The principle of operation is that the cooler air from the lower part of the room is drawn under the base of the inner cast iron unit.

Preparatory measures The fireplace should be hermetically connected to a well - functioning chimney, suff i- ciently enclosed to keep combustible materials (floor and walls) at a distance, and should be installed in a room with sufficien t ventilation.
