Use th e Silent Mod e to tempor arily turn off th e arm or disarm confirmati on chirps by briefly pressin g befor e either arming or disarmin g. The confirmati on chirp(s) will th en be eliminated f or that one operati on only . T o permanen tly turn off the arm an d disarm confirmation chirps , con tact your installati on dealer .
T o enter or e xit Valet M ode: 1. T urn the igniti on on. 2. T urn the igniti on o ff. 3. Press an d release the V alet switch within 10 seconds . The status LED will li ght steadily if you are en terin g V alet Mode an d will turn off if you ar e exiting V alet Mod e .

If the bypassed sensor is tri gg ered again while it is alread y being bypassed, th e 60-min ute bypass period will start over .
If the system is arm ed at the same tim e that an input is active (door openin g, sensor trigg erin g, etc.), you will h ear one chirp to indi cate arming and a secon d chirp to in dicate Bypass N otification.
A zone is r epresented by th e n umber of LED flash es used by the system to id entify a particular type o f input. Stan dar d input assignm ents are listed below , along with spaces to write in an y option al sensors or switches that have been in stalled .
Code Hopping The r eceiver and tran smitter use m athem atical form ulas called algorithm s to change th eir cod es each time th e transmitter is used.

Tr ansmitter: A hand-held , r emote con trol that operates th e vari- ous functi ons of th e security system. Trigger or T riggered Sequence: The "settin g o ff" or "tripping" o f the alarm. A T rigg er ed Sequence con sists of the sir en sounding an d the parkin g lights flashin g f or 30 seconds .
