In a way , a domain name is like the street address of your house with the phone nu mber being like the IP .

Cingular GPRS Raven Us er Guide V ersion 2.01 24 CHAPTER 7 Keepalive It is not uncommon for you r Raven to be disconnected from Cingular after an extended period of inactivity . This is generally a feature intended to reduce your charges for inactive use.

Cingular GPRS Raven Us er Guide V ersion 2.01 26 CHAPTER 8 Host Modes The Raven can be in one of six communication modes as the Host to the computer or other device attached to th e serial port of the Raven. AT: The Raven accepts and responds to standard, Hayes-style A T commands.
