70 Installing Sy stem Components • One or two DIMMs per channel can support up to 1333 MHz. • If memory modules with di fferent speeds are installed, they will operate at the speed of the slowest in stalled memory module(s). Mode-Specific Guidelines Y our system supports both single channel and dual channel modes.

Allow time for the memory modules to cool before handling them. Handle the memory modules by the card edges and avoid touching the components on the memory module.
