Shut down the computer , remove the hard drive (see "Hard Drive" on page 119), and boot the computer from a CD. Then shut down the computer , reinstall the har d drive, and restart the computer .
96 T roubleshooti ng M EMORY ALLOCATION ERROR — The software you ar e attempting to run is conflicting with the operating system, another program, or a utility . Shut down the computer , wait 30 seconds, and then restart it. T ry to run the program again.
T roubleshooting 97 S EEK ERROR — The operating system cannot find a sp ecific track on the hard drive. S HUTDOWN FAILURE — A chip on the system board may be malf unctioning. R un the System Set tests in the Dell Diagnostics. See "Dell Diagnostics" on page 87.
