Introduction 7 1 Introduction Dell W yse Configuration Ma nager (WCM) is an innovative self-configuring client technology for the cloud and Dell W yse Enhanced Embedded virtual desktop environments.
8 Introduction • WCM Application GU I — is a standalone GUI to create new configuration files as w ell as edit existing configuration fi les. These files can be placed on an FTP server (for FTP) or on a W eb server (Microsoft IIS W eb server for HTTP or HT TPS) in order to be deployed on thin clients running the WCM Client.
