INST ALLA TION CHECKLIST Y our installer MUST have completed and checked the f ollowing: The Dis hDrawe r ® is square and level. The Dis hDrawe r ® is fastened securely to the cabinetry . Ensure moisture protection tape has been applied and the cabinet is sealed according to the DishDrawer ® Installation Instructions.

INST ALL A TION This Di shD rawer ® must be installed and located in accordance with the Installation Instructions before it is used. I f you did not receive Installation Instruction sheets with your Dis hD rawer ® , you can order them by calling y our Authorized Ser vice Agent.
OPERA TIONAL Impor tant! Under no circumstances should you open the dr awer whilst the DishDraw er ® is in operation. Always press the button to pause and wait until you hear the three additional beeps before opening the draw er . The Dis hDrawe r ® must be used with the motor assembly , filter plate, drain filter and spray arm in place .

2 C ONTROLS If you have a double DishDra wer®, each drawer has its own contr ols and can run independently of the other . POWER BUTTON The button turns the DishDrawer® on or off . Opening the drawer will automatically turn the DishDrawer® on f or 30 seconds.
3 LO C K B U T TO N OPTIONAL The button activates/deactivates the Keylock or the Childlock func tions. Keylock The Keylock featur e disables all the buttons on the DishDrawer®. T o activate, press and hold the button until y ou hear one beep (3 seconds).
4 1 Load Dishes Remove all f ood scraps and load the dishes. 2 Add D etergent 3 Check Rinse Agent 4 Press the Button 5 Select a W ash Prog ram 6 Check Ensure there is nothing obstructing the spray arm. T he drain filter must be level with the filter plate.
5 W ASH PROGRAM CHART Standard W ash Program - when to use Heavy Heavily soiled pots, pans and dishes. Normal Dishes with normal soils for optimum wash and dry performance. Fa s t Lightly soiled dishes. Delicate Lightly soiled and heat sensitive crockery.
6 CARING FOR Y OUR DINNERW ARE The combination of high temperatures and dish washer detergent may cause damage to some items if they are washed in the DishDrawer®. Remember , if in any doubt about any aspect concerning items washed in the DishDrawer®, f ollow the instructions from the manufacturer of the items, or wash the item by hand.
7 DISHW ASHER ST AND ARDS TEST The DishDrawer®s ar e tested to various standards f or both wash and dr y per formance. The follo wing are loading pattern diagrams, det ergent and rinse agent quantities used for the DishDraw er®.
8 A C CESSORIES The inserts and racks can be added or removed to suit your individual needs. If you have the double DishDra wer® model, some of the accessories are int erchangeable between the two drawers .
9 CUP RA CKS Cups, glasses and kitchen utensils can be placed on the left and right hand side of the cup racks. F or best per formance ensure there are no large items below , blocking the wash water from reaching the cup racks. Wine glasses can be supported on the cup racks if used in conjunction with the Mega R ack.
10 LO A D I N G W ash water for the DishDraw er® comes from the spray arm which is situated inside the base of the drawer . The spray arm rotat es, providing wash water to all ar eas of the wash comp.
11 HOW NO T TO L OAD Y OUR DISHDRA WER® figure 1 - overcr owding: Overcrowded and wash wat er will not reach some of the dinner ware. Cups , glasses and bowls must have their openings facing downwards.
12 DETERGENT DISPENSER Impor tant! Only use powdered det ergent recommended for domestic automatic dishwashers in the detergent dispenser . Never sprinkle or pour detergent directly onto any item in the DishDraw er®. T ablets and liquid detergents are not suitable to be used in the DishDrawer®.

14 W A TER SOFTENER DD2 24H , DD1 2 4H MODELS ONL Y SET TING UP THE W A TER SOFTENER Using hard water (abo ve 100ppm) for dish washing can be detrimental to the per formance of your DishDra wer®. Glasses will become opaque and dishes will become spotted or cov ered in a white film.
15 4 F it the cap tightly back into its original position. 5 If you do not wash your dishes immediately after filling the salt reservoir , run a rinse program to remo ve any salt water or spilt granules . Note When filling the salt dispenser , you may notice water being displaced from the water softener overflow.
16 RINSE A GENT DISPENSER W e highly recommend the regular use of liquid rinse agent to giv e the best dr ying results. Rinse agent gives a str eak free, sparkling clean look to glass and chinaware, in addition it prevents metal from tarnishing .
17 OPTION ADJUSTMENT S The follo wing options can be adjusted to suit your prefer ences. Rinse Agent setting Reduce the Rinse agent setting if there is excess f oam after a wash program. Increase the Rinse agent setting if dishes are wet or streaky after a wash program.

19 USER M AINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS CLEANING THE OUTER SURF ACES F rom time to time the wash program indicator panel and its surrounds need to be cleaned to remove f ood par ticles, hard wat er scale and any spillages. W e recommend wiping these areas with a clean damp cloth.
20 CLEANING THE DRAIN FIL TER, SPRA Y ARM AND FIL TER PLA TE W e recommend that the drain filter is cleaned whenever there is evidence of f ood par ticles. The spray arm and filter plate ma y need cleaning about once a month in normal use or more often should the need arise.
21 Cleaning the Spray Arm & F ilter plat e Ensure the DishDraw er® is cool before you start cleaning and follow the instructions for removing the drain filter and spray arm. 1 Remove the basket carefully . Lift from the back end first to prevent knock ing the detergent and rinse agent dispenser .
22 TROUBLE SHOO TING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CA USE WHA T T O DO Continuous beeping A fault has occured. Refer to the F ault codes sec tion. Inter mitte nt beeping DishDrawer® is in pause mode. Close the DishDrawer® and pr ess the butt on. DishDraw er® will not star t Po wer supply is not connected.
23 Unclean dishes W ash program unsuitable for the load. Refer to the wash pr ograms section for a suitable wash prog ram, or the soils were too hea vily baked on and dishes may need soaking. Spray arm unable to rotate. Ensure no items are obstructing the spray arm path.
24 DishDraw er® interior is stained Some foods, like tomato based products, may stain the inside of the DishDrawer®. Pr e -rinse dishes before placing in the DishDrawer®. Alternativ ely , using the Rinse program after adding the dishes may minimize staining.
25 F A UL T C ODES HOW TO RECOGNIZE A F AUL T C ODE When a fault has occurred, the DishDra wer® will continuously beep every second. Each fault code is shown in the following chart. HOW TO A T TEND T O A F A UL T C ODE 1 Press the button to remov e the fault code.
