Inst alla tion 6 INST ALLA TION The NA V ONE requires very little installation bey ond putting it at a conv enient location an d securing it in place. The pow er cord can be connected to the vehicle’ s 12-volt power connector .

Separate the mounting bracket from the unit. 3. Press the suction cup against the windshield and pull the lock lever all the way back toward the bracket arm UNTIL IT CLICKS .

List s : Menu Choices 10 LISTS T ake a moment to become familiar with using lists on the NA V ONE. Lists presen t inform ation conv enie ntly an d allow choices to be selected b y touching the desired item on the screen. Once a n item i s selected, the system continues automatically to the ne xt step in the process.

Menu Choices 12 Returns to the previous menu. Allows creation and naming of folders within the Address Book . Is the means of adding a location to an Address Book folder .
Nothing Comes Close to a Cobra ® Menu Choic es 13 Returns to the previous menu. Displays the Map and starts navigation. Shows the currently installed software version and other system data. Provides immediate routing from any location to the place that has been designated as home.
Shows a segment of the entire Map as if through a window that can be moved to display any desired portion. The window can be zoomed in or out to reveal greater detail or a larger area. The system defaults to the Map segment associated with the current activity .
Nothing Comes Close to a Cobra ® Menu Choices 15 Displays information about the current trip. Displays a scrolling list of maneuvers from start to end of the trip. T ouch any item to view . Enables the user to stop navigation. Allows the user to force the system to recalculate a trip in progress to avoid specific roads.
Int er acting with the Map : R oute Selection 16 INTERA CTING WITH THE MAP When the Map is displa yed, the touch-screen f eature of the NA V ONE makes it easy to w ork with. T ouching the screen anywhere on the Map opens Map Browse mode. Once in this mode, touch the Map to show a list of locations at that place.
Nothing Comes Close to a Cobra ® Inter acting with the Map : Rout e Selection 17 While in Map Browse, touch any spot on the Map to see what destinations are there . The status bar at the top of the screen will change to show a single location or multiple locations.
Special L ocations : T r ail 18 SPECIAL LOCA TIONS Special locations include fix ed speed cameras and red light ca mer as. T he a ler ts t o these locations are intended to remind users to e xercise special caution when the y are approached. Aler ts will be signaled by an icon on the screen as sho wn at the lower left corner .
TRAIL This f eature can be used on or off the road to record vehicle mo vements . Instead of guiding the vehicle on a route calculated in advance , it captures the route actually taken. Once a trail is recorded and sav ed, it can be used to retrace the route or to repeat it in the future.
Bluet ooth 20 BLUET OO TH The NA V ONE can function as a speaker phone f or many Bluetooth enabled cell phones . The first step is to set up a cell phone with the NA V ONE. 1. On the NA V ONE, go to Bluetooth Setup with the sequence Main Menu S Settings S Bluetooth.

T r affic : User Settings 22 Re-r oute options. When T raffic overla y is turned On (using Main Menu S Settings S T raffic Settings S On/Off ), the NA V ONE will indicate traffic conditions and incidents on the Map b y colored segments and icons along the route.

The batter y automatically goes into Recharge mode whene ver a po wer cord is plugged in to the unit.

T r oubleshooting : Pr oduct Service 28 Display does not power up. Power switch is turned Off . T urn the unit On with the Power button. Battery is discharged. Plug in 12V power and turn the unit On . Fuse in 12V power cord is blown. Check for green LED on 12v power plug.
