9 English DXZ368RMP In extreme cold, the screen movement may slow down and the screen may darken, but this is normal. The screen will recover when it returns to normal temperature.

12 English DXZ368RMP The control panel can be detached to prevent theft. When detaching the control panel, store it in the DCP ( Detachable Control Panel ) case to prevent scratches. We recommend taking the DCP with you when leaving the car . 2. Press in the [ OPEN ] button.

15 English DXZ368RMP Radio Mode Operations Listening to the radio 1. Press the [ SRC ] button and select the radio mode, then the radio will be on. 2. T o select a preset band, press the [ BND ] button, then select one of the preset bands such as FM1, FM2, FM3 or AM.
16 English DXZ368RMP Auto store Auto store is a function for storing up to 6 stations that are automatically tuned in sequentially . If 6 receivable stations cannot be received, a previously stored station remains unoverwritten at the memory position.

18 English DXZ368RMP RDS Operations • Cancelling the T A standby mode As “ TP ” and “ T A ” lit in the display , press the [ T A ] button. The “ T A ” in the display goes off and the T A standby mode is cancelled. ∗ If “ TP ” is not lit, pressing the [ T A ] button searches for a TP station.

20 English DXZ368RMP Switching the PTY display language Y ou can select one of 4 languages ( English, German, Swedish or French ) for the PTY displayed in the display . ∗ The factory default setting is “ ENGLISH ”. 1. Press the [ ADJ ] button to switch to the adjustment selection display .
21 English DXZ368RMP • File extensions • Always add a file extension “ .MP3 ” or “ .WMA ” to MP3 or WMA file by using single byte letters. If you add a file extension other than specified or forget to add the file extension, the file cannot be played .
22 English DXZ368RMP Note: • If the FLIP DOWN P ANEL will not open far enough, open it gently with your hand. 2. Press the [ ] button. Remove the disc after it is ejected. 3. Close the FLIP DOWN P ANEL. Notes: • Always close the FLIP DOWN P ANEL once you take out the disc.

35 English DXZ368RMP T roubleshooting Write MP3/WMA files onto the disc properly . Use MP3/WMA files encoded properly . Use ISO9660 level 1, 2 or JOLIET or Romeo file system. Clean the disc with a soft cloth. Replace with a disc with no scratches. Use MP3/WMA files encoded properly .
36 English DXZ368RMP 9. ERROR DISPLA YS This is a failure of CD deckʼs mechanism and consult your store of purchase. Replace with a non-scratched, non-warped- disc. Eject the disc then reload it properly . ERROR 2 Error Display Cause Measure A DISC is caught inside the CD deck and is not ejected.
