T op and Bottom F ront Chassis P anels The top and bottom front chassis panels each comprise a plastic injected-molded bezel on a metal frame.
Cisco 7000 and Cisco 7507 LED Board Replacement Instructions 3 Product Overview LED Board Location and Description The LED board contains the three LEDs that report system software (normal) and po wer supply (upper power and lo wer power) status through semiopaque panels on the front of the chassis.
4 Cisco 7000 and Cisco 7507 LED Board Replacement Instructions Product Overview T w o pins in the brackets and a metal spring that butts up against the ceiling of the chassis k eep the board in place. (See Figure 3.) Y ou must remov e the top front chassis panel to access the LED board.

Cisco 7000 and Cisco 7507 LED Board Replacement Instructions 7 Removing and Replacing the Front Chassis Panels • When removing or installing an LED board, connect the equipment end of the ground strap to an unpainted surface of the chassis, such as the v ertical metal frame that is exposed when the front chassis panels are remov ed.
