OPTIONS Activate or deactivate the options before the start of a programme. You cannot activate or deactivate the options while a programme operates. If one or more options are set, make sure that the related indica- tors are on before the programme starts.
BEFORE FIRST USE 1. Make sure that the set level of the w a- ter softener agrees with the water hardness in your area. If not, adjust the water softener. Contact your local wa- ter authority to know the water hard- ness in you r area. 2. Fill the salt container.
Electronic adjustment 1. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. 2. Make sure that the appliance is in set- ting mode. Refer to ‘SETTING AND STARTING A PROGRAMME’. 3. Press and hold Delay and Start at the same time until the indicators ( A ), ( B ) and ( C ) flash.
DAILY USE 1. Open the water tap. 2. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Make su re that the appli- ance is in setting mode, refer to ’SET- TING AND STARTING A PRO- GRAMM E’. • If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container. • If the rinse aid indi cator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser.
• The display shows the countdown of the delay start that decreases with steps of 1 hour. • The phase indicators of the set pro- gramme go off. • When the countdown is completed, the programme starts. – The indicator of the phase in opera- tion comes on.
HINTS AND TIPS THE WATER SOFTENER Hard water contains a high quantity of minerals that can ca use damage to the appliance and bad wash ing results. The water soften er neutralises these minerals . The dishwasher salt ke eps the water soft- ener clean and in go od conditions.

TROUBLESHOOTING The appliance does not start or it stops during operation. Before you contact the Service, refer to the information that follows for a solution to the problem. With some problems, the display shows an alarm code: • - The appliance does not fill with water.
• The quantity of detergent is too much. Stains and dry water drops on glasses and dishes • The released quantity of rinse aid is not sufficient. Adjust the rinse aid selector to a higher position. • The quality of the detergent can be the cause.
