Operation Guide 3043 3 • The watch receiv es the calibration signal f or two to se ven minutes e v eryday when the time in the Timekeeping Mode reaches each of the calibr ation times. Do not perform any button operation within se ven min utes bef ore or after any one of the calibration times .

While the watch is in the Digital Compass Mode, place it on a flat surf ace, or if y ou are wearing the watch, mak e sure that your wrist is horizontal (in relation to the horizon). 2. P oint the 12 o ’ clock position of the w atch in the direction you want to measure .
Operation Guide 3043 5 To turn display of the barometric pressure differential pointer on and off 1. In the Barometer/Thermometer Mode, hold down E until SET appears in the upper display area. 2. Release E , and wait f or four or fiv e more seconds until either OFF or the current reference temper ature value (if set) starts to flash.

Operation Guide 3043 9 To set an alarm time 1. In the Alarm Mode, use C and A to scroll through the alarm screens until the one whose time you want to set is displa y ed. 2. Hold down E until the hour setting of the alarm time start to flash, which indicates the setting screen.
