Belt drive condensers provide adequate static to overcome ducting and louver static losses. 30 Operating sequence All units require the addition of a ther mostat accessory package to complete the control circuit. The sequence of operation may vary depending on which package is selected. Room-mounted the rmostat — The unit uses an electronic ther mostat mounted in the conditioned space.

33 Setting condenser fan speed The 50XCA condenser has a centrifugal blower and a vari- able pitch drive which allow adjusting the condenser air flow to match the static from the louvers, ductwork, filters, and sound traps (if used). It is best to adjust the fan to the nominal air flow and th e rpm which will achieve this per for mance.
