Wh en the headset is connected to a paired phone and is ready for use, the gr een indicator light flashes slowly.
9 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. • Switch off the headset. • Disconnect the headset in the Bluetooth menu of your phone. • Move the headset more than 10 mete rs (30 feet) away from the phone. You do not need to delete the pairin g with the headset to disconnect it.
10 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. • To reset the headset if it stops functioning, although it is charged, briefly press the power key and the middle of the volu me key while it is plugged into a charger. This reset does not clear your settings (for example, pairing settings).
11 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. 3. Basic use ■ Place the headset on the ear Place the headset over your ear and slide it downwards as shown in the figure. Adjust the headset into a comfortable position on your ear so that it points toward your mouth.

The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or th ree complete charge and dis charge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out.
